This is by far my favorite place to shop. I very much enjoy the size variations & gorgeous outfits to be found here. Not only that, but household items, cards, jewelry, purses, bath/body and so much of it is created by local makers. You will surely find something fabulous! ALL of the tops I wear to work are from here (not kidding). Go go go! Shop small businesses! ☺️

This is the CUTEST family owned store! If you are looking for comfortable and beautiful clothing, The Buttercup has it! So many sizes with very helpful people to guide you in the right direction. We were in the area camping at endless caverns when we came across this adorable boutique. Upon walking in, you are greeted by the kind staff. There is something for everyone in this store! We had the chance to meet the owner and she was extremely relatable and funny. She did all she could to make sure we were satisfied without being pushy at all. Overall, my sister and I had an amazing experience and it is definitely a place we will return to in our future.

the ButterCup is a boutique in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, with locations in New Market and Woodstock. We specialize in unique, inclusive women's fashions, local maker jewelry, brands with a mission such as ABLE, New Creation VA, World Finds and more. We especially love our Judy Blue Jeans, locally made home items, leather goods and children's section.
